GAZA CHILDREN CONTINUE TO FACE UNPRECEDENTED CRISIS
Children in Gaza have been living through the longest and most devastating crisis in recent memory.
Children in Gaza continue to face unimaginable hardship. After more than a year of conflict, the humanitarian situation has reached a catastrophic level, with children bearing the heaviest burden.
Children Under Attack
Children in Gaza have been paying the highest price. Thousands have been killed, many more injured, and nearly all have been displaced from their homes. The trauma they have experienced will have lasting effects for generations.
A Generation at Risk
More than 1 million children in Gaza are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. They face:
- Severe malnutrition due to lack of food
- Limited access to clean water and sanitation
- No access to education - schools have been destroyed
- Psychological trauma from witnessing violence
- Risk of disease outbreaks due to poor sanitation
Our Response
Save the Children is working around the clock to help children and families in Gaza. Despite immense challenges, our teams are delivering:
- Emergency food supplies and nutritional supplements
- Clean water and hygiene kits
- Psychosocial support for traumatized children
- Educational materials and temporary learning spaces
- Winter supplies to protect children from the cold
Call for Ceasefire
We continue to call for an immediate ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid to reach children in need. Every child deserves safety, protection, and a future.
"My children ask me when the bombing will stop. I have no answer for them."
